PaperSave Windows Client

When you open Dynamics GP for the first time after PaperSave integration, you will get a prompt to install the PaperSave Windows Client, if not already installed.

 

Note: It is required to install the PaperSave Windows Client to view PaperSave options within Dynamics GP and PaperSave Add-Ins across your system.

 

Follow the below steps to see Dynamics GP related options within PaperSave Windows Client:

1) Once the PaperSave windows has been successfully installed, it will automatically enable PaperSave and display the bubble notification as shown in the below screen.

 

Note: If it is already installed, then it will automatically get enabled when you open Dynamics GP application.

 

 

2) Now, you can see the PaperSave Windows Client icon in the system tray in the taskbar (i.e., Bottom-right corner of the screen).

 

3) Right-click on the icon to see the menu with the following PaperSave Windows Client options as shown below.

 

 

  • Dynamics GP: If PaperSave is enabled, then only it will display the name of the application.
  • Logged in user: Displays the username of the current user logged in user of PaperSave Windows Client. (Example: ps/(current-username))

  • Help: This option will redirect you to the User Guide for PaperSave Web Scanner.

  • About: Displays the information related to the PaperSave Windows Client, such as the current version.
  • Curent Tenant: Displays the name of the PaperSave tenant that you are using for the PaperSave windows client. (Example: pstest.app.cloud.papersave.com)
  • Change Tenant: This option allows you to change the PaperSave Tenant.
  • Logout: This option will log out the current user.
  • Check for Updates: This option helps you validate if there is any updated version for the PaperSave Windows Client.

    • Note: When there is any update available for the PaperSave Windows Client, then then 'Check for Updates' option will be changed to 'Install Updates'.

  • Exit: This option will close the PaperSave Windows Client.

 

When PaperSave is enabled, then you will see Dynamics GP at the top of the PaperSave Windows Client menu. When you hover over the Dynamics GP, it will display the PaperSave related options as shown in the below screen.
